Welcome to the William Harding’s Charity Almshouses
The Charity has 35 almshouses in Aylesbury town available to rent for residents of Aylesbury town. They range from one and two bedroomed houses, one and two bedroomed bungalows and one and two bedroomed flats, some of which are on the first floor and a few of those have stairlifts. All are maintained by the charity which ensures they offer modern and pleasant homes for people from the age of 60 years (for couples just one person needs to be 60) who are current residents of Aylesbury.
Almshouse residents are expected to pay a Weekly Maintenance Contribution (WMC) from their own pensions, savings or via the benefit system. Properties are usually decorated when a new resident moves in.
All properties have access to a private or shared garden. Routine garden maintenance is provided along with help with water charges. There are no garages and we do not allow pets in the properties
If you would like to register your interest or apply to live in one of our almshouses please click the application form button below which gives full details of the information required.
