In April 2021 Broughton Junior School requested a grant to expand and update their IT within the school. They knew many children at the school did not have access to computers or notebooks at home and it was important for the children to have ICT skills as they progressed through the school and onto secondary school, where equipment such as this is used to deliver lessons and homework.
Wm Harding’s grant was used to purchase Chromebooks and iPads to help support their learning and provide them with the best resources at home. The grant also provided safe and secure storage within the school.
From the pictures of the children, you can see they are very happy with their new IT equipment and enjoying learning new skills.
