AUL&GFC provides football for female players in Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. They currently have 235 members who play in a team environment and a further 30 ladies in a social group who play without the commitment of league games. The ethos of the club is to provide football to as many ladies and girls as possible, regardless of ability.
The grant request to William Harding was to provide extra training goals for the expanding number of teams and also for folding substitute benches to allow girls to be seated when they are not playing. By enhancing their facilities and making match days more comfortable they hope to attract more people to join and give better training for everyone.
