The colourful Aylesbury Mela (mela meaning gathering) was organised by the Shakti Women’s Group and marked the relaunch of the group and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Over 500 guests were greeted with traditional drummers.
William Harding's Charity is pleased to have sponsored the event which so many enjoyed.
Everyone enjoyed the dancing displays, many joined in. Local businesses served delicious food, and the young people were kept busy with Jubilee crafts.
